About the Artist
Elium s a visual artist and filmmaker.
Working across film, installation and scenography, she creates works in which objects, sets and bodies act as narrative agents.
Her practice uses fiction as a tool to address everyday realities and contemporary tensions. Informed by event design and the luxury industry — which she approaches as spaces for staging and subversion — she constructs immersive worlds where humour and poetry coexist with a sense of unease.
Trained in the UK, notably at Central Saint Martins, Elium began collaborating at an early stage with luxury brands such as Hermès, Dior and Louis Vuitton, for whom she designed window displays, installations and immersive environments. Alongside these commissions, she has developed a personal film practice, often conceived as a collective and sensory experience, in dialogue with cultural institutions and exhibition contexts.
Today, film occupies a central place in her work, not as a standalone medium but as a site of encounter between narrative, scenography and the gaze.
