Under the title 'Deep Down Inside', Nicolas Delprat's third solo exhibition at Michèle Schoonjans Gallery in Brussels presents a selection of eight previously never shown paintings from the artist's three most recent series of the last years.

"Nicolas Delprat's relationship with painting is both contemporary and timeless. When I chose the paintings for the exhibition with the artist in his studio, I was particularly struck not only by the successive images they evoke in turn, but also by the myriad of almost palpable emotions they arouse in the deepest part of the spectator. And the more precise and rigorous the production of each work, the more immediate and dazzling their expressivity.
